I did a video on the supplies that I have so far, no including what's coming in the mail still.
I included the prices that I paid for everything, so you can use my experience to help you budget.
I will need additional materials as I get going, mostly absorbent fabric and elastic. But this is the base of what I'm starting with. Happy Sewing!

Snap Storage!
So, I'm not the Most OCD person out there, but there are some things That I like REALLY organized. This mostly pertains to my crafts. I found these gem plastic storage bins by accident roaming Wal-Mart $4 for larger, $2 each for smaller. I purchased the 2 small ones, thinking that was enough. Nope! I had bought the all-inclusive Kam Press bundle, which means i had 500 full sets of snaps coming my way...which did NOT fit nicely in the little containers. SO, I went back and bought a larger one, and I LOVE it! First of all, in this picture it is holding 700 full sets of snaps in 7 different colors, plus 100 white sockets, plus 100 moonbeam caps, plus my die set and some room to spare.
The third nook from the top left is a combo of different color caps from the 7 different colors. That's how little were leftover once i distributed them. The moonbeam light blue in the second row second column from the right shows how easily 100 caps fits in these larger nooks.
,
Additionally, I JUST received 2 packs of mixed color sets, the Sunburst, and the Autumn. So I decided to put those in the smaller containers. I kept all sockets, studs, and caps separate. Because that's easier to dig out a color, than to dig out a separate part from the same color.
Additionally, in the larger bin, you can see that I mixed colors as well. Two different colors fit perfectly together in 1 slot. So the black/white in the second row is all sockets. And the black/white in the bottom row is all studs. I love love love how it turned out.
One tip though...make absolutely sure of where you want your snaps before pouring them in....otherwise they take forever to rearrange like i needed to originally. I'm still not sure I love how I did the mixed sets in the smaller containers. The bottom left is perfectly segregated with sunburst sockets, suburst studs, sunburst caps in the larger and then autumn sockets, autumn studs, and autumn caps. The second container however is a larger nook of autumn caps, larger nook of sunburst caps, and then i mixed all sunburst sockets with all autumn sockets leftover. Additionally all sunburst studs with all autumn studs leftover. So, there's a whole lot of colors mixed together in the 2 smaller nooks in the bottom right plastic container. BUT...seeing as it will take me awhile to actually use all these snaps....it probably won't hinder me any.
Oh- and because a full set consists of twice as many caps as sockets or studs. The larger container didn't quite fit all 200 caps per color, but very easily fit 100. That's just to clear up confusion.
Hope this helps.
I love organization!!!
Oh and if you're wondering why I didn't do any pull-out drawer organizers or anything, we move everything we own every 3-6 months. So I needed something highly efficient for moving AND storage. :-D

Babyville vs. La Di Da Diaper Patterns
Hey all, I just did a video yesterday comparing these 2 patterns at first glance. AGAIN, this is just a quick assessment, before any fabric was cut or sewn. I will post the link below when I get it uploaded. Pretty interesting differences to consider before buying.
Feel Free to send me your patterns, and I will review them and post about them! Both here, and on youtube. Email them to loveoftarzan@gmail.com OR if you REALLY want to get on my good side, you won't make me print it out myself, and you can email me for a place to send it!!
I'm always willing to review products. Just let me know whose interested!!

The entire review is broken into 2 videos because Youtube wouldn't let me combine them,

KAM colors breakdown
Okay Cloth-Diapering Snap-Loving Hooligans, here's a special project I took a long time on, but I think you'll love. All info is taken from the kamsnaps.com site as well as diapersewingsupplies.com.
To use this chart, find the color(s) that you like by visiting their site, (or looking below) http://www.kamsnaps.com/KAMsnaps-Colors-57.html
THEN check the chart to see the different ways you can obtain that color!! Here's why- color is very very important, but sometimes you don't need 400 of the same thing....but you didn't realize that it is offered in one of their 'mixed' options. OR you didn't realize you could buy a pack of 50 in that color from DSS. This chart also showed me the most popular colors, because they're available the most different ways.
This chart also tells you which colors you can only buy from KAM as individuals. I strongly strongly recommend buying their color chart for $5/$6 to give you the exact color you need, as computer screens and pictures are always a guess!
Be warned, their website says that the mixed options change periodically, so definitely check their site before ordering! I'll be getting my press and snaps in the mail this week, and i used this chart ALOT in figuring out the best way to save money and get me the most snaps in the colors i'll use the most!!! Let my hard work be your reward!!!
